Yummy… Well, this is one of the place/restaurant that I recommend you to visit. It is near Suwon Station. It is Chicken Fried Rice and it cost only 4000 won. They cook in front of us too.

Seoul Sungnyemun

Filed under: My every day live

This was the main gate in the fortress wall of Seoul. It is also called Nam Dae Mun (Great South Gate), as it is the southern gate of the capital city. It was first constructed in 1398, and was rebuilt in 1448.
The gatehouse, which measures 5 kan (a kan is the interval beetween pilars) in width and 2 kan in depth, is a wooden structure built in typical style. It is the largest city gate in Korea. There are some conflicting theories about the author of the characters on the paque hanging from the gate, but it is recorded in an old text called "Jibongyuseol"(1634) that they were written by Prince Yangnyeong.

Drinking Soju at Samsung’s Dinner Party

Filed under: My every day live

Me and my samsung friends went to a Beer Restaurant in Suwon. And I tasted one of the finest drinks I have ever drank. It is called Soju, and it is very popular in Korea.

Soju is a distilled beverage native to Korea and traditionally made from rice. But in the modern soju, rice was sometimes replaced by potato, wheat, barley, sweet potato or tapioca. Soju has a plain water color and has typically varies in alcohol content from 20% to about 45% Alcohol by Volume (ABV). Soju that I drank was 19.5% alcohol content. Soju has a sweeter taste than most others due to the addition of sugar in the manufacturing process.

Well, that night, I didn’t drink to much coz I still need to work on the next day, and didn’t want to get drunk either. But nearly all of my samsung friends was drunk. hehehe. Funny n joyable night. When they were drunk, they start standing on the table, and used the Soju botols for their microphone, and start dancing. haha. They were all very friendly. I love Korean people. They work very hard the whole day, and they know how to have fun just for the sake of refreshing their mind when the night comes.
