Baturraden - Purwokerto
Me, Nita and Aning went to a tourist area in Purwokerto called Baturraden on the new years holiday. It is a beautiful site. I will try to make a reference about this site with the help of Uncle Wiki. Here we go…
Baturraden, a tourist area that is located in Purwokerto. It is located 20 km from the city, only 15 minutes from my house, Pandak road.
Baturraden is located at the foot of Gunung Slamet. Because of its highlands, the weather is cool and it gets colder when it comes to night times. There are 9 places that you can enjoy seeing in this area :
1. Pancuran Pitu Baturraden
2. Pancuran Telu
3. Telaga Sunyi
4. Bumi Perkemahan (Camping site)
5. Pemandian Air Panas (Natural Hot Spings)
6. Curug Ceheng
7. Wahana Wisata Lembah Combong
8. Combong Valley Paint Ball and War Games
9. Kaloka Widya Mandala Zoo
To be able to see the Pancuran Pitu Baturraden, you have to walk up approximately 1-2 hours on foot. Tiring, but I am sure it is worth the walk.
If you get hungry on your visit to Baturraden, you can just try the famous food from Purwokerto called Soto Sokaraja and the famous Tempe Purwokerto. You can find people selling this foods around the Baturraden site, specially on weekends and holidays.
The Orange Bridge, 25 meters long, 20 meters high above the Gumawang River was reconstructed on 2006/2007 due to the tragedy that happend on October 2006. The bridge collapse and killed 12 tourist. But thank God the bridge is fix and more hefty. Now you can see beautiful views from this bridge.
With the clean, cool air and beautiful views from the Baturraden site, this will be a vacation that you will never forget. Enjoy…

Wah gua blum pernah tuh ke baturaden. Abis dulu jembatannya rubuh sih… Sekarang udah bagus Dhi?

Udah bagus kok ho, tuh jembatan orange yang ada di belakang gua. Itu jembatan yang dulu roboh. Sebenernya masih mau nambahin foto2 di artikel ini, tapi under construction. Milih2 fotonya dulu, banyak soalnya. hihihi…
